I'm Justin Squires-Cowan, the founder and sole trader behind Solway Swan Bullion.

My journey with coins and precious metals began as a collector. As a child my Auntie gifted me 'The Queen Mother's 90th Birthday' commemorative coin, now a beautiful piece of history. This led me on to collecting as many 'special' coins as I could, mostly 50 pence pieces from the change of my lunch money, Two Pound coins which I collected with my Mum and foreign coins from our family holidays. I've always been fascinated by the history and craftsmanship of these special coins.

Since then I started collecting a small amount of gold and silver coins. What began as hobby turned into a business idea when I decided to sell some of my collection on eBay, Vinted and Facebook. Connecting with others who share an appreciation for gold, silver and coins has been really exciting and is what has fuelled this venture.
